Although 2020 was in many ways not a good year, we would like to highlight some positive things about last year and share this with you in our monthly blog. After all, positivity will bring us in the right direction and gives us hope. In these difficult times we wanted to bring some awareness to everything we should be thankful for when looking back at 2020. At PREMIER SUITES we experienced several positive things last year but we want to share some of our best. Namely, the opening of PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam, the achievement of the Green Key Award and the fact that we could remain open despite of the COVID-19 situation.
PREMIER SUITES PLUS Amsterdam
We were very excited to open our new venue in Amsterdam on the 1st of July 2020. This venue is beautiful situated in the new Hourglass Building and located literally in the middle of Amsterdam Zuid-as in front of Amsterdam Zuid train station. The hotel consists of very comfortable and luxurious ‘serviced apartments” and has 115 serviced apartments spread over lofts, one-bedroom apartments, 2-bedroom apartments & 3-bedroom apartments (ranging from 31sq m to 82sq m). Each apartment is equipped with all conveniences and includes a separate seating area, sleeping area, bathroom and fully furnished kitchen. And…the view of the rooms is amazing!
Green Key Award
In the beginning of last year, we received the green key award for corporate social responsibility. There are three levels to obtain the award and we are very proud to say we scored the highest one: GOLD! There is a yearly check up and we successfully achieved the award for this year as well.
Yes, we are still open!
Although travel was reduced, the hotel remained open. We have taken all necessary precautions to offer security, safety, quality, duty of care and service to our guests. We experienced that our serviced apartments could offer a perfect solution for a safe environment. All our apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, are self-catering, have grocery, restaurant and breakfast delivery, self check-in, laundry services, weekly housekeeping, space to work and 24 hours reception. Because of these benefits we could welcome our guests and give them the necessary comfort and safety.
