PREM Group, the parent company of PREM Group, owns and manages a portfolio of properties across Ireland, The UK and continental Europe. Each year, including virtually during lockdowns, they hold the excellent PREM Ovation awards where we honour our colleagues, friends and teams that have demonstrated excellent leadership, positive attitude, competence, dedication, empathy, understanding, innovation and adaptability – qualities all needed more than ever. This year on Tuesday 17th May, a group of almost 100 employees gathered in the beautiful Osprey Hotel in Naas for these exciting awards.
Property of the Year Award
We were honoured to recognise the hard work of all of our colleagues but particularly 27 award winners across the themes of Ethos, Leadership and General Manager of the Year categories. Team recognition was also bestowed to teams across all eight of our Irish properties. PREMIER SUITES Dublin was delighted to be the recipient of the Property of the Year award for 2022, one of the highest accolades of the night. We were delighted to be recognised for our hard work and dedication, not just this year but every year. Pauline Ray, GM of PREMIER SUITES Dublin accepted this coveted award and thanked her team for their contribution. We are so proud of our team in PREMIER SUITES and delighted with this amazing achievement.
PREM Ovation Awards 2022
Many of us took the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues for the first time in two years and others took the time to greet new starters who we had not met face to face. We came together to recognise ourselves and each other for the hard work we have done in the past year and award some extra special colleagues with accolades they had earned. The PREM Ovation awards were presented by the CEO of PREM Group Jim Murphy and Paul Dempsey, COO of PREM Hospitality Ireland.
A word from our CEO
Speaking about the awards, Jim Murphy described the atmosphere felt in the room at both events as uplifting, warm and energetic. ‘PREM Group is all about the team. We are a success because of our people. Looking out at the room at both events and seeing so many people with 10, 15, and 20 years plus service to the company makes me feel very proud. In these times this says a lot about the culture of our organization. That culture is special, unique and the product of the efforts of each and every person within the Group.
