Part of the PREM Group collection of properties in Ireland, the UK and Continental Europe, we are proud to be part of such a hard-working and dedicated team of people who strive to make our guests and our workplace a great place to be every day. This certification forms part of our participation in Failte Ireland’s Employer Excellence Programme, something we strive to uphold within our workplace. Great Place to Work Organisation

Great Place to Work allows companies and businesses to build high-trust workplace culture, measure their employee experience, and earn recognition with their Best Workplaces programme. Great Place To Work is the only employee experience platform built upon 30 years of research and data to take the guesswork out of workplace culture. After a survey with employees and gathering information from across the organisation, a company with 10+ employees can be certified when their overall results are 65% or higher. The survey centres around 17 actionable categories each with its own score combining to give an overall mark. Surveys have 73 basic statements with 1-5 scores as responses, alongside 2 open-ended questions so employees can be heard in their own words.

Our teams were asked to complete a confidential survey measuring their trust in management and also their feelings about the job itself and their colleagues. The predominant sentiment was that here at PREMIER SUITES we have a positive ‘people-centred’ culture and we work hard to nurture and maintain this. This score is a true reflection of the great efforts made by our team who shape the work environment into a place where respect, credibility, fairness, camaraderie and pride can flourish. Of course, there is always room to improve, and we will carefully review all aspects of feedback identifying opportunities for us to become an even better place to work. The hotel industry can be perceived as a less attractive place to work so we are delighted that our team find their employment to be engaging and rewarding. It’s also very pleasing to see many other hotels in Ireland achieve this certification, recognising our wonderful employees and the vital role they have in looking after our guests.’
