Antwerp really isn’t big enough to warrant renting a car for the duration of your stay, but you may not want to walk everywhere either. For a happy medium, and to ensure you’re getting your daily exercise, why not hire one on Antwerp’s public bikes on the Velo scheme. The city has many designated cycling zones and lanes and it’s a safe and easy way to get around. Each Velo bike comes with a built-in lock so don’t forget to lock it to a securely fixed object or drop it back to one of the designated points. Depending how often you visit, you may want a day pass, a week pass or a yearly pass to pick up and drop off bikes as often as you please. Use between 0-30 mins is free and it costs just €1 per hour after that. You can also choose for the option to rent a bike with us at PREMIER SUITES PLUS Antwerp.
