Here are just some of the highlights coming in the next few months.
March
March is a busy month in Dublin, especially with the St Patricks Festival happening from 15th to the 18th. We’ll see a big increase in tourism during Match and an uptake in event attendance. Keep up to date with the latest technology and ways to heat your home or business at the SEAI Energy Show 2024 on 20th & 21st March. One of the biggest bi-annual events of the year, the Pregnancy and Baby Fair returns on the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March. The Irish Poker Open means all bets are high from March 25th to April 1st, 2024. It’s a very popular event attended by players from all over the world and it’s excellent to watch their skill in person. On 29th March Irish side Leinster take on the formidable South African Vodacom Bulls for a thrilling match we’re hoping will be a highlight of the month. The next day, Ireland’s women’s team take on Italy in the Women’s 6 Nations and we’re expecting a big turnout for the girls in green.
April
April is just as busy in the RDS but there is less Rugby to look forward to. Morgan O’Driscoll Fine Art Viewing Irish and International Art show on April 4th will be popular among lovers and buyers of beautiful art. Guests will come from all over the world to pick up vintage and modern art pieces that are unique, many being sold for the first time. Were expecting a big turnout of beauty and hair mad professionals and enthusiasts to the Professional Beauty & Hair Show. Business owners, bloggers and those obsessed with preening will flock to the RDS on 21st and 22nd April to find out the latest technology in beauty and hopefully grab something new before it hits the shelves. PTSB Ideal Home Show 2024 returns from April 26th to 28th and its one of the most popular events of the year in RDS. Meet professionals, designers, DIY enthusiasts and homeowners and find out the latest trends in décor and design for homes.
May
We’re looking forward to the return of Rugby in May with United Rugby Championship (Round 16) – Leinster Rugby v Ospreys on 11th May. These two formidable sides battle it out in a hard match that sure to be exciting. Live coverage and commentary of this exciting match will be shown on Sky Sports for those of us not lucky to bag tickets. The RDS Members’ Club is delighted to present another exclusive Supper Club evening with an exciting guest chef on May 12th. United Rugby Championship Leinster V Connacht is happening on Friday 31st May and will be attended and enjoyed by fans all over the country. Book accommodation early for these busy fixtures to avoid disappointment.
