What’s on in Newcastle March 2024

March is a jam-packed month in Newcastle with some excellent names in music coming to our city to sell out gigs. James Arthur comes to the Utilita Arena on 9th March with new music and his usual mesmerising voice. Worldwide singing superstar Ne Yo comes to the arena on 11th March with his Champagne & Roses Tour with special guest Mario. It’s a guaranteed great night of throwback tunes and new music. On a smaller scale, One of the most iconic and influential bands in British music history, The Stranglers are celebrating their 50th anniversary year by performing at O2 City Hall on 14th March. Enjoy the unique and upper-class comedy stylings of the inimitable Michael McIntire on 15th and 16th March, back in the Utilita Arena Newcastle. Iconic pop singer and songwriter Marti Pellow is back with his brand-new ‘Popped In Souled Out’ Arena Tour and is heading to Utilita Newcastle on March 24th. It’s a guaranteed sell-out with so many familiar songs you’ll be dancing all night!

What’s on in Newcastle April 2024

Enjoy the silky voice and well-known tunes from singing sensation turned Twitter icon James Blunt on 4th April in Utilita Arena in Newcastle with support from the brilliant Lucy Spraggan. Formerly of X Factor Fame, Ella Henderson has made her mark on the world of music in her own right. She plays in the Wylam Brewery on 5th April. Podcast host, judge on Great British Menu, Taskmaster champion and host of Traitors Ed Gamble has a show in Tyne Theatre & Opera House on 6th April. The Fureys, a legendary traditional Irish music band from Dublin are placing in nearby Whitley Bay on 13th April and it promises to be a great night of singing and story. On 19th April, Marvin Humes, JLS legend plays Wylam Brewery while on 10th April the formidable Troy Hawke puts on a show in O2 City Hall. British superstar Paloma Faith returns with her sixth studio album The Glorification of Sadness and a show in O2 City Hall on 29th April.

What’s on in Newcastle May 2024

May is the start of summer and the start of events season in Newcastle. We have a lot to look forward to! Number 1 debut album owner with an international hit single in “Leave A Light On”, Tom Walker plays O2 City Hall on 3rd May with support from Kingfishr. We’ll never get to experience her wonder in person but the Whitney – Queen of the Night show is the next best thing. Catch this formidable show, also on 3rd May. The unmistakable sounds of Rag’n’Bone Man will be enjoyed by thousands in Leazes Park in Newcastle on Sunday 5th May at a show that promises to be one for the books. Iconic singer Dionne Warwick brings her captivating life story to The Glasshouse on 5th May. Eric Clapton graces the Utilita on 9th May for what is likely a once-in-a-lifetime show. Frankie Boyle returns to Tyne Theatre on 19th May in a show that is not for the faint of heart. International legends Teddys Swims and Rebecca Ferguson plan in City Hall and Tyne Theatre on 25th May. The highlight of the month is likely to be the comeback tour of Girls Aloud on 31st May in the Utilita Arena.
