Make the best of Valentines Day 2021

With the excitement of Christmas behind us, the January blues are worse than ever. We all need

something to look forward to and what could be better than an international day celebrating all

things love! Whether we are locked down or not, you can still enjoy a cook-at-home meal from some

of the best restaurants in Dublin and make what you can of 14th February, especially when you’re

planning a visit to PREMIER SUITES Dublin Leeson Street. Here are some of our favourite Dublin

restaurants and things to do in the city this Valentine’s Day.

Dublin Restaurants

We don’t know what restrictions will look like for Valentines Day this year so we’re preparing

ourselves for all eventualities. Luckily, some of our favourite Dublin Restaurants are providing their

very best meals and produce, semi-prepared, perfect to finish at home or in your suite. If restrictions

allow, try to book a table in:

Suesey Street

Less than 5-minutes’ walk from door to door, Suesey street is a well-known, casual dining restaurant

in Dublin that specialises in supplying the very best local and seasonal produce. Its inviting

environment is perfect for all occasions from family dinners to romantic meals & they specialise in

private dining. Their menus vary from local meat, veg & cheeses to the freshest catch of the day, all

from some of the best quality and most reputable suppliers in Ireland. If you do manage to secure a

table, try the seared loin of Wicklow venison and thank us later. Suesey Street are not offering a dine

at home menu at present.

Fade St Social

Another of Dublin’s finest restaurants, serving local food finished with a flair, is Fade St Social. 10-

minutes by foot from PREMIER SUITES Leeson Street, Fade Street Social is not only a popular

restaurant, but one of the best cocktail bars in town. They serve very best homegrown ingredients,

both food and drink and allow freshness to be the star of the show. Luckily for us, they also have

outdoor dining options and a Fade St at home takeaway menu. This completely new menu is 90%

cooked and prepared in the restaurant, delivered to your door and finished/garnished by you at

home. Their website has more info on all of their menus.

Dine at Home

If you like the idea of spoiling the one you love with a home-cooked meal, our serviced apartments

in Dublin are ideal for you. Create a showstopper menu, order the ingredients you need from a local

supermarket or market and we will make sure everything is ready for your arrival. Each of our

apartments has a fully equipped kitchen so you can dine when it suits you, impressing your other

half with your culinary skills and staying safe in the comfort of your city centre suite. You could also

order a fully prepared and ready to eat take away from some of the many cafes, fast food outlets

and restaurants in Dublin and enjoy it in the comfort of your personal living/dining space.

Dates in Dublin

Dates in Dublin have been severely restricted since 2020. For now, we can’t head to a pub, enjoy live

music or go to the cinema. This year, we have to be more creative when trying to impress that

special someone. Parks and public gardens are still open and free to be explored by all. Enjoy the

serenity and beauty of Stephens Green Park, a stones throw from Leeson Street. This historical park

has everything you need for a romantic stroll, including beautiful waterways, flowering formal

gardens and plenty of green space to enjoy a lunch Al Fresco (just watch out for the greedy

seagulls!). The park itself hosts a large number of important sculptures and monuments and a visit is

a great opportunity to educate yourself on Irish history. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon,

lockdown or not. You can also enjoy the nearby Iveagh Gardens, a National Historic Park and one of the finest, but

lesser-known parts of Dublin. Complete with fountains, woodlands, a hedge maze, beautiful sunken

gardens, a rosarium and a waterfall the park is a beautiful example of Victorian design. Surrounded

by cafes offering a delicious takeaway lunch (check out Emer’s Kitchen), it’s an ideal spot for a midafternoon wander.

If you’d like to spend your Valentines Day with the one you love, in a true home from home, book

your valentines stay in PREMIER SUITES Dublin Leeson Street. Be assured that when you book
