The festival consists of 28 races, seven per day, and hosts many of the season-defining championship races such as the Champion Hurdle and Cheltenham Gold Cup. Around 100 hot air balloons lift off from the beautiful grounds of Ashton Court Estate in the morning light for a picture-perfect scene. The event takes place over four days between August 10-13th and is a busy time in the city with visitors flocking from all over Europe and the UK.
Bristol Harbour Festival
