The gallery kitchen
The Gallery Kitchen, a family-owned business that opened its doors 10 years ago, is located just a 2-minute walk from our hotel. Driven by their passion for the hospitality industry, the family members have created a unique destination where exquisite food and personal service come together.
This establishment has become a true hotspot in the heart of Rotterdam and is considered an icon in the city after all these years. Whether you’re craving a delicious breakfast, a delightful lunch, or a dinner, The Gallery Kitchen is the place to be. Here, you can enjoy a quick lunch with friends or even host a special event. Dana, who has been in charge for several years now, has taken over from her parents. Together with Chef Robbert, they form a team with extensive experience gained from restaurants around the world.
The Gallery Kitchen is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pebbles kitty cat cafe
Pebbles Kitty Cat Cafe, established in September 2016, proudly stands as the sole Cat Cafe in Rotterdam. The unique and heartwarming concept allows individuals to savor their favorite beverages in the delightful company of feline friends.
The cafe came to life through the support of a caring community via crowdfunding, and all cherished cats are lovingly adopted from local animal shelters.
Within the cozy establishment, visitors can relish a wide array of experiences. Whether one is sipping on a warm cup of coffee, indulging in a delightful board game, getting lost in the pages of a book, or productively working with a laptop, the cafe provides the perfect ambiance.
To support the noble cause, the cafe kindly requests an entrance fee of 3.50 €. These contribute to the well-being, food & veterinary care of the cats. A warm welcome is extended to everyone seeking the companionship of the furry residents. To ensure a secured spot, the cafe kindly asks visitors to make a reservation in advance. Krozant
Krozant opened recently in June 2023, a hidden gem nestled in the garage of the Groothandelsgebouw. Conceived by the visionary duo of friends, Nadia and Yvette.
Positioned at the base of the parking garage in the Groothandelsgebouw, Krozant unveils itself as a semi-circular glass haven adorned with myriad small windows. Emblazoned in bold orange letters, the name of the establishment beckons passersby. Through these transparent walls, witness the culinary craftsmanship of Nadia and Yvette as they artfully bake, brew, and create an array of tempting treats. The display showcases an enticing array of pastries, including classic croissants, pains au chocolat, coffee rolls, and innovative cruffins—a delightful fusion of croissant and muffin.
While Krozant offers the option of savoring a traditional croissant, Nadia and Yvette elevate the baking experience with their imaginative twists. Nadia shares, “Embark on a journey with our filled almond croissants or savor the uniqueness of our pain suisse with homemade pastry cream and chocolate chips. Our menu extends beyond pastries to include savory delights like the BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato), succulent chicken thigh, smoked salmon, and the exotic Vietnamese bánh mì.” For those seeking a milder palate, catering to vegan preferences, or mindful of dietary choices, the menu also features a selection of sandwiches to satisfy every craving.
Come here to enjoy a delicious variety of croissants. Krozant is open from Tuesday to Friday between 08:00 and 15:00. On Saturdays and Sundays they are open from 09:00 to 13:00
