We're going green to keep our planet clean
We strive to reduce pollution to its lowest practicable level and are committed to comply with all relevant legislation and associated guidance.
We monitor and manage environmental performance in our operations through environmental risk assessments. Operating procedures and controls are developed through this process to reduce any risks to the environment to the lowest level practicable. Reviews of environmental performance are built in to regular health and safety inspections and audits.
All waste represents an inefficient use of resources and energy. We try to reduce the quantity of waste generated and regularly review routes whereby waste can be eliminated or reduced or recycled.
The Company promotes the efficient use of energy by its staff through the use of energy surveys, improved housekeeping, control of processes and the efficient use of service engineer resources.
Our staff, when planning work will try to keep all potential impacts on the environment such as noise, dust, smells or fumes to a minimum.
All wastes will be disposed of responsibly. Our staff will ensure they comply with all the waste disposal requirements.
The company believes that awareness and knowledge of environmental issues is an important part of the process of effective environmental management. Therefore it is our objective to provide suitable information and training to our employees to ensure they are able to make informed decisions.
We are accredited by Green Tourism, a sustainability certification programme. Green Tourism promotes greener ways for businesses and organisations to operate by offering guidance on the following:

What we are doing
Reducing our impact on the environment
We inform all our guests of our recycling facilities and also ask them to think of environment and switch off all the lights when its bright/leaving the apartment. We also advise guests they can drink tap water, there is no need to purchase plastic/bottled water. We are working on Green Tourism and will be sharing initiatives with our guests shortly.
Maintenance & cleaning
We are proud to use chemicals that are less hazardous to environment and recycle in all office/canteen areas.
Growing Our Own
We offer “Homegrown Greens”, a planter filled with herbs and spices, for our guests to use while cooking in their apartment.
Through the Green Tourism accreditation our team are learning more and becoming more aware of the impact small changes can make on our environment.
We have bicycle racks available on site and offer all employees the opportunity to avail of the bike to work scheme.
We have compostable water/coffee cups at reception for guests to use. We also have recycling bags in all apartments. We have moved to using dispensers instead of single use bathroom amenities.
We encourage as little printing as possible throughout the property with many initiatives including offering guests their invoices emailed on departure.
At PREMIER SUITES we are now accessible via “Whatsaap Business”. Our QR code is advertised around the property and provided to the guests on check in – this minimises the usage of paper/welcome letters for the guests with the arrival information provided – all “how to’s” and things to do in Dublin can be found by just scanning the QR code.
Home away from home
Our PREMIER SUITES Dublin Sandyford building has glazed windows to keep in heat, the lighting in public areas are on a sensor so turn off when not needed. We also have Energy LED lighting throughout the property.
For all PREMIER SUITES properties, we order local Irish Butlers Chocolate to support local Irish produce.
Standard natural pure wool throws are being used in all 3 Dublin Properties and they are designed and produced in Ireland in Co. Donegal.
Prem Group has its own charity “Beyond the Moon” that organizes the events and outings. The collected funds are going all around Ireland and Europe to support family holidays for struggling families with sick children.
PREMIER SUITES Ballsbridge, Leeson Street and Sandyford organised and supported the Animal Charity from the funds collected during Christmas Jumper’s Day outing.
We donate all non-claimed lost property to a local Age Action charity and encourage guests to donate any items that they have purchased and wont be taking with them.
Prem Group also did a collection and hamper sale to support the Ukrainian community.
