Day One

You’ll visit locations along the route like Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, the Royal Mile, and the Georgian New Town neighbourhood. A fantastic way to see all of Edinburgh in just one tour bus ride!

Once you have taken in all the history of Edinburgh It’s time to enjoy some shopping on George Street. Harvey Nichols, Louis Vuitton, and Canada Goose are just a few of the upscale retailers Multrees Walk will offer. This then leads into the brand-new St. James Quarter shopping centre so you can shop ‘til you drop.

By now you must be getting a bit peckish so it’s time to eat at the laid-back, upscale all-day dining venue The Ivy On The Square on the way home. Everybody will enjoy the wide variety of cuisines available, including vegan and vegetarian options as well as Asian and British classics. Here, a lively dining scene and a bar are available to you.

Day Two

To get your morning off to a great start, take a 10-minute stroll to the SEVEN café! On TripAdvisor, this café has a 4.5-star rating and is ranked 7th out of 218 coffee and tea establishments in Edinburgh so it is definitely worth a visit. Once you’ve refueled it’s time to visit Scotland’s top attraction, the National Museum of Scotland. The National Museum of Scotland is located on Chambers Street and can be reached by walking through the Grassmarket, past the statue of Greyfriars Bobby (rub his nose for good luck as you pass), and through the Grassmarket. Since admission is free, you won’t need to reserve or purchase any in advance, which is great! 

The Grand Gallery, one of Scotland’s most stunning locations and an amazing place to begin your museum visit, the Scottish Galleries, which will take you on a journey through time from the prehistoric era to the present, and even the opportunity to take a stroll and get up close to animals from various habitats in Animal World are all things you can anticipate. Enjoy a lunch or a coffee during your visit to the National Museum of Scotland because at the Balcony Café with a great view over the Grand Gallery.
