The impartial survey from our staff has shown that our teams are happy and look forward to going to work. They work hard to maintain not only a great atmosphere in the workplace but also a great place for our guests to visit. Great Place to Work Certification

Becoming certified with Great Place to Work is a four-part process, which can be repeated every year. First, employers choose two weeks to survey employees. The Trust Index Employee Surveys are custom-built for Great Place to Work, to gauge the mood, feel and trust of the employees within their individual workplaces and departments. It allows us to gather real-time feedback from our frontline workers and to react to improve well-being within the workplace. A 73-question confidential Trust Index survey is carried out within the organisation and any company with 10+ employees can be certified when their overall employee survey results are 65% or higher. Employees are encouraged to share their honest feelings and experiences to ensure an unbiased result.

Our management team as well as the employees themselves provide details about the company culture and practices through a ‘Culture Capture’ facilitated by the organisation. We give our relations to certain scenarios, some real-world examples and the ideal culture that we aim for within the organisation. These are expertly analysed by Great Place to Work experts and considered within the final scoring methodology.

The Great Place to Work team then present their findings to our team, enhanced with relevant benchmarks and opportunities to improve within the workplace. They give us our results of both the Culture Capture and the Trust Index surveys, showing us places we are excelling and spaces that could use a little more work. They provide expert advice and give us valuable insight into behind the scenes of the workplace that management might miss in the hustle and bustle of daily life within the hospitality industry.

If a company has met all of the criteria, they will be considered for a range of recognition opportunities which far extend the basic Great Place to Work certification. Employers and companies are presented with a certificate to display how they see fit and a recognition as a Great Place to Work, attracting potential new employees and retaining current teams for many years to come. You are eligible to reapply every year and undertake the same process to ensure standards remain high.
