Outre les nombreuses attractions culturelles, le lieu est impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 d'une histoire qui remonte aux ann\u00e9es 1200. Situ\u00e9 au centre de la ville, De Wallen est devenu une attraction majeure pour les touristes, tant pour son hospitalit\u00e9 unique que pour ses 800 ans d'histoire. Dans ce blog, nous allons d\u00e9couvrir l'histoire profond\u00e9ment enracin\u00e9e du quartier rouge avant votre visite.<\/p><h2>De Wallen<\/h2><p>Fait amusant, les N\u00e9erlandais n'appellent pas ce quartier le \"Red Light District\", mais l'associent plut\u00f4t aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amsterdamredlightdistricttour.com\/de-wallen-amsterdam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">De Wallen<\/a> ce qui signifie le mur. Datant du 13\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, il est connu pour \u00eatre le plus ancien et le plus grand quartier d'Amsterdam. Cette ville m\u00e9di\u00e9vale est apparue en 1270 apr\u00e8s la construction du pont qui reliait l'\u00eele de la ville pour le commerce international. <br \/><br \/>La p\u00eache a rapport\u00e9 beaucoup d'argent dans les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et, avec le temps, l'exp\u00e9dition de bois et le commerce d'Extr\u00eame-Orient ont livr\u00e9 des \u00e9pices comme la cannelle, le poivre et les clous de girofle, ainsi que du th\u00e9 et du caf\u00e9, qui ont rapport\u00e9 beaucoup d'argent. La ville stockait tous les produits dans les d\u00e9sormais c\u00e9l\u00e8bres entrep\u00f4ts, qui \u00e9taient les quartiers d'habitation des commer\u00e7ants. On peut voir ces maisons au Brouwersgracht par exemple. Elles sont reconnaissables \u00e0 leurs trappes en bois caract\u00e9ristiques \u00e0 l'avant.<\/p><h2>B\u00e2timent historique<\/h2><p>Pour les passionn\u00e9s d'histoire en herbe, la visite du Red Light District est vivement recommand\u00e9e. La plus ancienne habitation de la ville se trouve au num\u00e9ro 90 de la Warmoesstraat. L'architecture remonte au 18e si\u00e8cle, mais des \u00e9tudes affirment \u00e9galement qu'elle pourrait \u00eatre encore plus ancienne, le b\u00e2timent ayant probablement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli en 1485. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amsterdam.info\/oude-kerk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oude Kerk, vieille \u00e9glise<\/a> est l'une des plus anciennes \u00e9glises d'Amsterdam et se trouve au c\u0153ur du Red Light District. <br \/><br \/>La chapelle en bois date de 1213, et aujourd'hui encore, pendant les week-ends, vous pouvez grimper sur le clocher de l'\u00e9glise gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un tour guid\u00e9. Trompettersteeg est la rue la plus \u00e9troite et la plus ancienne d'Amsterdam, on ne peut m\u00eame pas y marcher c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te - une exp\u00e9rience incontournable.<\/p><h2>Travail sexuel<\/h2><p>Le travail du sexe a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent dans le Red Light District, mais il fait encore aujourd'hui l'objet d'un d\u00e9bat entre acceptation et pers\u00e9cution. Au d\u00e9part, le travail du sexe \u00e9tait mal vu par les habitants du quartier. Lors de la r\u00e9volte hollandaise de 1578, les nouveaux dirigeants des Pays-Bas ont interdit cette pratique.
