The museum offers workshops, tours and theatre programmes for both locals and tourists.<\/p><p>When leaving the museum head north-east for a scenic walk alongside the beautiful and iconic Amsterdam canals. Amsterdam has over 100 kilometres of canal dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age. These canals create about 90 islands and 1.500 bridges.<\/p><p>These canals are beautiful from the side but the real view you get when watching from in the canal itself. From popstars, world-class athletes to kings and queens of old.<\/p><p>Once you have worked up and appetite, you can get something to eat at the many snack bars in the Amsterdam city centre. These snack bars do not offer any haute cuisine by any stretch of the imagination. Quite the opposite. But their snacks are delicious nonetheless and are considered typical for the Belgian culture. The most popular snack are of course the iconic \u201cFrench fries\u201d or more accurately \u201cBelgian fries\u201d. A must try for anyone who never had them.<\/p><p>The Goat farm Ridammerhoeve, located in the middle of the forest the farm consists of a petting zoo, cheese factory and a playground.
