We strive to reduce pollution to its lowest practicable level and are committed to comply with all relevant legislation and associated guidance.<\/p>

We monitor and manage environmental performance in our operations through environmental risk assessments. Operating procedures and controls are developed through this process to reduce any risks to the environment to the lowest level practicable. Reviews of environmental performance are built in to regular health and safety inspections and audits.<\/p>

All waste represents an inefficient use of resources and energy. We try to reduce the quantity of waste generated and regularly review routes whereby waste can be eliminated or reduced or recycled.<\/p>

The Company promotes the efficient use of energy by its staff through the use of energy surveys, improved housekeeping, control of processes and the efficient use of service engineer resources.<\/p>

Our staff, when planning work will try to keep all potential impacts on the environment such as noise, dust, smells or fumes to a minimum.<\/p>

We select our suppliers locally, if possible, to reduce transportation distance. We also try to buy in bulk to reduce packaging. We\u2019ve replaced single use bathroom amenities for dispenser bottles which reduced waste immediately. PREMIER SUITES Rotterdam is located opposite the Central Station, in the center of Rotterdam. Being strategically located within a stone’s throw from the train station motivates our guests to travel via public transport and leave their car at home.\u00a0<\/p>

In 2017 the building was converted from an office building to 104 apartments spread over 9 floors and 7 floors with office spaces. The entrance uses sensors to open the doors. In addition, we have a Double Door Airlock system. The double doors at the front of the building create an airlock that prevents substantial amounts of heat or cool air from escaping the building when entering and exiting.<\/span><\/p>

This building strategy prevents energy-consuming drafts and makes the building more energy-efficient. The windows throughout the building are double glazed and we are using a Hotel Key-card switch for electricity and climate control in the apartment. Pollution is one of the biggest issues in our environment and we believe that everyone should take part in their daily lives to reduce this ongoing problem. We try to make a difference by consuming less in our hotel.<\/span><\/p>

We try to buy in bulk to reduce packaging. We\u2019ve replaced single-use bathroom amenities with dispenser bottles which reduced waste immediately.<\/p>

We don\u2019t use plastic cups, stirs, straws, or any other single-use plastic. Instead, we use biodegradable products. In addition, all coffee capsules in the apartments and the lobby are biodegradable and are disposed of in a special container.\u00a0<\/p>

At the moment we are in the process of removing all paper welcome folders from the apartments and by scanning a QR code, guests can find all the hotel information and manuals online on their phones or laptop.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

To reduce the usage of dangerous chemicals at PREMIER SUITES Rotterdam<\/a>, we provide our housekeeping and kitchen with ecological supplies that are all biodegradable and less harmful to the environment.
