Here is an example of our ideal day in Glasgow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-breakfast\">Breakfast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We Scots take breakfast very seriously and even have some special Scottish dishes which are unique to us. Square sausages and tattie scones are included in a full Scottish breakfast along with copious amounts of tea. We like a real Scottish breakfast in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cafegandolfi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Caf\u00e9 Gandolfi<\/a>, a short walk from your apartment, to start the day off right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-being-a-tourist\">Being a tourist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glasgow is so lucky to have a rich history and culture so you will be spoiled for choice. You could organise a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.walkingtoursin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">walking tour<\/a>&nbsp;to ensure you see all of the highlights of the city and learn a little on the way. The guides are usually local and have a knowledge of the city that the guidebooks won\u2019t tell you. Tours last from 2 hours to a half day and cost between \u00a38-10. Well worth it to make sure you don\u2019t miss anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along your walking tour route, you will surely be shown\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/beta.glasgowlife.org.uk\/museums\/venues\/kelvingrove-art-gallery-and-museum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum<\/a>. This attraction is Scotland&#8217;s most visited free-to-enter museums and contains 22 galleries and 8000 pieces of art. We would say this is a definite must-see on your trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lunch\">Lunch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are hungry at lunchtime \u2013 Scottish breakfast is known to be quite filling \u2013 you could try the award-winning\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/breadmeatsbread.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bread Meats Bread restaurant<\/a>. This place is well known for its burgers and has won Yelp\u2019s \u2018Top place to eat in Glasgow\u2019 in 2016. They have a selection of local meats but cater for veggies and vegans also. They are less than 5-minutes\u2019 walk from PREMIER SUITES PLUS Glasgow too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-shopping\">Shopping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are so many good retail outlets in Glasgow but our favourite area is Buchanan Street as it\u2019s just around the corner from us. This street has a mixture of high end and high street stores so there is something to suit everyone\u2019s taste and pocket.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/buchanangalleries.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Buchanan Galleries<\/a>\u00a0is a large shopping centre with over 80 shops to choose from, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in Glasgow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dinner\">Dinner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glasgow is such an international city and we are lucky to have some of the best cuisines from around the world.
