Read below for a tiny taste of Liverpool\u2019s wonderful local culture:<\/p><h2>Local History<\/h2><p>Let\u2019s start at the very beginning, back to Liverpool\u2019s roots. The absolutely stunning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpooltownhall.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool Town Hall<\/a> is one of Liverpool\u2019s oldest buildings and dates back to the 18th Century, 1749 to be exact. Home to the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, the town hall has some of the greatest architecture the town has to offer, particularly the stunning Staircase hall. They offer daily guided tours if you want to learn more.<\/p><h2>Local Arts<\/h2><p>We are so lucky that the home of British and international modern and contemporary art is right on our doorstep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tate.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Tate Liverpool<\/a> hosts a huge variety of works from modern artists and has exhibitions as well as informative works and workshops throughout the year. The works and displays use a variety of media to convey the strangest and most wonderful themes you can imagine. It&#8217;s definitely worth a visit.<\/p><h2>Local Pub<\/h2><p>It would be a pity to visit the home of The Beatles and not visit the place where it all began. The iconic Cavern Club has been a huge attraction for visitors all over the world and is well-known as the birthplace of the phenomenal band. There is always something going on in the pub, between Beatles tours and local musicians and bands performing. Amazingly, the pub is now 60 years old and still going strong!<\/p><p>While we\u2019re on the subject, there are a whole host of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.ie\/Attractions-g186337-Activities-c42-t183-Liverpool_Merseyside_England.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beatles-themed walking tours<\/a> you can take part in if you want more information on the band&#8217;s humble beginnings. If you would like a broader history of Liverpool, there are a host of tours you can decide from, everything from history and heritage to ghosts and music.<\/p><h2>Local food<\/h2><p>Rated number one on Trip Advisor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatatheritage.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heritage Restaurant<\/a> is easily the best place to dine out in Liverpool. Their menus are inspired by traditional British recipes passed down from generation to generation and perfected over time. Their staff, including the friendly Head Chef Alex, go above and beyond to make sure every visit is special and memorable.
