We have put together a list of our ideal day here;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-breakfast\">Breakfast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start your day off right with a light bite and some of the best coffee in South Dublin according to us.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.baristascafe.ie\/breakfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Baristas Caf\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0specialise in good food and excellent service. Their varied breakfast menu will have something for every appetite. They are so close to us you can almost smell the fresh coffee from our front door.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-being-a-tourist\">Being A Tourist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A short drive from Sandyford lies the beautiful\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.ie\/Attraction_Review-g212297-d216169-Reviews-Killiney_Hill-Killiney_County_Dublin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Killiney Hill<\/a>. A pleasant walk up the hill will lead you to some of Dublin\u2019s most scenic coastal and city views. This is a great opportunity to take the perfect picture or just sit and enjoy the views with a flask of tea. We highly recommend this as an opportunity not to miss when in Dublin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Five minutes\u2019 drive from Killiney Hill you will find\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dalkeycastle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dalkey Castle<\/a>. Guides and costumed actors will take you back in time to Tudor days and if you haven\u2019t had enough of a view already you can climb the battlements and admire the sea and mountains from a height. Drop-in tours run from 10 weekdays or 11 weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lunch-and-shopping\">Lunch And Shopping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kill two birds with one stone in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dundrum.ie\/shops\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dundrum Shopping centre<\/a>. Dundrum has so many places to eat with cuisine varying from Thai to Italian food; there is something to suit every palate and pocket. Our new favourite is Five Guys, the cult American chain restaurant. We haven\u2019t seen this place without a queue since it opened but their delicious food is well worth the wait. If burgers aren&#8217;t your thing why not try the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.porthouse.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Port House<\/a>\u00a0for delicious tapas and a fantastic wine menu.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dundrum itself has 160 stores so you are sure to find whatever you are looking for. From high street to high end the centre has something for everyone. With everything from pharmacies to furniture stores, you could easily get lost for hours browsing for a bargain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dinner-and-drinks\">Dinner And Drinks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a long day of walking and shopping, you\u2019ll want to stay close to home for your biggest meal of the day.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/leopardstowninn.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Leopardstown Inn<\/a>\u00a0is about 15-minutes\u2019 walk from us so you won\u2019t have far to go to get back to your cosy bed. This long established pub is loved by locals and racing enthusiasts alike. They serve high-quality \u2018pub grub\u2019 until 10pm each night and have recently updated their menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the mood takes you after dinner they also have a new bar \u2018The Lep\u2019 which serves a wide variety of spirits, beers and delicious cocktails.
