We are lucky to be a stone\u2019s throw from\u00a0both the Irish coastline and the Dublin mountains, both ideal for a scenic walk to up your fitness\u00a0levels or just to enjoy a leisurely walk to stretch your legs and capture some truly Insta-worthy\u00a0pictures. Head toward Sandymount for a walk along the sandy&nbsp;beach and admire the landscape or for a longer walk, head to the Great South Wall towards the&nbsp;lighthouse. The walk takes just over an hour to complete with beautiful views of Dublin Bay the&nbsp;entire way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bray-to-greystones-walk\">Bray to Greystones Walk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technically, this walk is not in the county limits but any Dub will tell you &#8211; if it\u2019s on the DART line&nbsp;we\u2019ve adopted it as part of Dublin! The Bray to Greystones walk is one of the most popular walks in&nbsp;the area. The walkway takes you from Bray, a typical seaside resort with amusements, arcades and&nbsp;ice cream, along the cliff edge, looking out across the Irish Sea almost the entire way, to the affluent&nbsp;little town called Greystones packed with delicious lunch locations and boutique shops and cafes.&nbsp;The walk takes about an hour and a half and if you prefer you can get the train back to your starting&nbsp;place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dun-laoghaire-harbour\">Dun Laoghaire Harbour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For an easy walk with stunning views across the Ocean, drive for 10-minutes to Dun Laoghaire\u00a0Harbour. This gorgeous seaside town is the perfect place for a seafood lunch or dinner followed by\u00a0an ice cream from one of the brilliant ice cream shops (we love\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrumdiddlys.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Scrumdiddlys<\/a>)\u00a0and a walk along the pier. The walk to the end of the pier takes just 30\u00a0minutes and it is such a pleasure on a sunny day. If you\u2019re feeling brave enough, follow your walk\u00a0with a dip in the Irish Sea at the forty foot. For non-natives, the name of the place can be quite\u00a0daunting but if you need directions just ask for \u2018Dun Lerry\u2019, we\u2019ll know what you mean!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ticknock\">Ticknock<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moving back to the beautiful Dublin mountains next with a visit to the Three Rock &amp; Ticknock trails.&nbsp;Ticknock is only reachable by car but there is free parking on site. It is also the starting point for&nbsp;many other marked trailheads such as the Fairy Castle Loop, the Dublin Mountains Way and the&nbsp;Wicklow Way. The main trailhead is moderately difficult so a fair level of fitness is required but once&nbsp;you reach the highest points, you\u2019ll see some of the best views across Dublin City, Dublin Bay and&nbsp;Wicklow in all directions. It\u2019s a popular spot for adventure sports like mountain biking, bouldering&nbsp;and hiking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hellfire-club\">Hellfire Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hellfire Club Walk (officially known as \u2018the Montpellier Loop Trail\u2019) is a lovely Dublin walk that&nbsp;will treat you to spectacular panoramic views out over Dublin City. It is a relaxed one hour walk&nbsp;which requires moderate fitness levels and shoes with good grip, leading to Dublin\u2019s most popular&nbsp;haunted House, the Hellfire Club. Legend says that a group of men playing cards in the now&nbsp;abandoned ruins were joined by the devil himself, identifiable only by his hooves! You can venture&nbsp;up during the day or at night for fantastic views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-phoenix-park\">Phoenix Park&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although a little far removed from our serviced apartments in Sandyford, if you find yourself in the\u00a0city centre, you should take a stroll through Europe\u2019s biggest walled park,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/phoenixpark.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Phoenix Park<\/a>.
